The Foundation recognizes the special sacrifices made by the soldiers, airmen and families of the Vermont National Guard and the hardships of military service by meeting a financial need beyond that normally provided by State and Federal agencies. The Foundation is uniquely positioned to quickly provide emergency assistance to the men and women of the Vermont National Guard.

The Foundation has been there for our families during their time of need by providing grants to appropriate and deserving members of the Vermont National Guard. Through the generous support of thousands of Vermonters, emergency assistance is made available to guard members without the obligation of repayment.

Since its inception, the Foundation has provided approximatley $500,000 in grants to meet a variety of needs from mortgage payments and car loans to heating fuel, home repairs and utility payments, just to name a few. The Foundation is proud of the contribution that it makes to the men and women of the Vermont National Guard we are honored to be able to provide this much needed assistance.
